Shridevi Mahadevan, Founder and Facilitator
Shridevi is an experiential learning enthusiast and works with people of all age groups as a freelance consultant to make learning a delight.
She is an electronics engineer by qualification and worked as a software professional for 9 years in MNCs. She has also completed an Executive Management Program with IIM -Bangalore in 2009.
She started NaVaRaSa in 2009, as an entrepreneurial venture with access to a physical space where all learning activities were focused. Multiple intelligence, multiple ways of learning for all age groups using mainly the Arts has been the goal, which is an ongoing vision, despite closing the physical space in 2014.
Certifications : RYT from the World Yoga Alliance (2012), YIC from SVYASA (2017), pursuing MSc. Yoga therapy from SVYASA (2018), Theatre-in-education trainer from SPT (Christ uiversity) (2009), Dance-in-education from SMART (2010), Prabhakar in Kathak (2010), Senior Diploma in Bharatanatyam (1998). All these mainly serve to bring a feeling of ‘safety’ in her training process, although she believes that the learning in any of these areas is endless.

– Theatre-in-education consultant with Vidyaniketan (2017-18), TRIO World (2017-18), Fleurdelis Montessori (2016-18), Sanjaynagar theatre club (2017 onwards), Presidency (2012-13), Short duration workshops with Kumarans CBSE, Christ University MBA, Summer project with CRY (For RTE), Summer workshops for children (since 2010).
– Theatre practitioner – Playwright’s Residency project “No Such Thing” for writing for children mentored by acclaimed playwrights Mike Kenny and Lutz Hubner (2017-18) curated by Ranga Shankara and Max Mueller, Script People’s Theatre core member (2000-2010 in playback theatre, improvisational theatre, physical/body theatre, proscenium), BLT SPOT 2000.
– Corporate theatre + yoga – Induction/team building/themed programs with HAL HMA, Infosys, Change-inc, IBM.
